The Jigsaw Man

The Jigsaw Man

He had a plan, the jigsaw man,
He thought he could be right,
And he was to a certain extent
Started good, payed the rent.
Had a system for the horses,
Weight down on favoured courses,
All was good till the rains came,
He felt sure that was to blame.
Still he had made a packet,
And if he was smart,he'd jack it.
He was'nt smart, like at the start,
So continued with his plan,
But the rains persisted
His brain had blistered
And the system burned his hand.
It aint that easy to make a buck
You need a little more than luck
His wife put him on a ban
Your systems full of holes she said,
Just like you, you jigsaw man.
