It had been a cpl of  years since they had first met.
Late night walks in the cold.
held hands watched the sun set.

So they had a conversation.
On just how they shld proceed.
He got a blessing from her Father
and soon on bended  knee

The question was asked.
His heart beat through his chest.
She raised her hand to her mouth...
and of course she said yes

So they arranged and they planned. They planned and arranged.
Invitations sent out announced their wedding day.

We were all in the church
The music was the cue
Hurriedly we stood  and turned around in the pues

Flowergirls were cute
Bridesmaids they looked great
But you shld've seen the Bride
What an entrance she made.

Stunning so serene, 
as she walked down aisle
Proud Father by her side
Beauty personified  

Now I fully admit my eyes they did well up
when the Groom saw his Bride and greeted her with a hug

The service was lovely.
Such a justice to them.
A privilege to witness, for family and friends

There was love, laughs and songs and rightfully praises.
They said their vows to each other
We looked on in amazement.

Then came the moment,
no-one wanted to miss
Their next chapter in life
was sealed with a kiss.
