Seeing The Light

Finding happiness was certainly not expected !

After the severest of trials I felt utterly defeated.

Being as far down as anyone shall ever imagine,

I had succumbed, losing all my natural passion !

Finding faith within myself allowed an escape,

With a rebirth of confidence and needed hope !

I began to climb up, just one hard day at a time,

Knowing the chink of light seen was a real sign !

Realizing I could finally leave the misery behind,

Instilled a much more determined state of mind !

Now, I can only wonder how I found myself there.

Belief in this heart caused the worst to disappear !
