The light

My world is filled with lies,
I see through it with my eyes,
Its a dark and gloomy night, 
I wait for the break of light .

I can’t take on this horrid fight,
Its a struggle to see the light,
This light is what I disdain ,
No light runs through my vein.

This light slowly fades away,
This is yet to be my darkest day,
I lay lost in my thoughts,
Wondering where i’ll drift off.

The night fades away again ,
I lay wondering where my day will begin,
I look around for a smile,
Then I realize i’m in denial.
