The lonely little lighthouse ⚓️

The lonely little lighthouse on the jetty blinked his beacon bold and bright.. beaming across yon oceanic waters betwixt that palid, pale moonlight
Humidity held hard and heavy on that late September’s night..fogginess engulfed this seaside’s treasure as seven seafarers braved their stormy plight
But back on the dry land where the locals slept..fisherfolk’s Mother’s of daughters lay and wept..as one and all awaited with worrying anticipation, with any update from their loved ones sickening situation
Not one, two but three flourescent flares filled the darkness of those starry skies.. twas’ an awful Autumn tale to be told, about those seven sailors sad demise
Then from that local lifeboat station six hardy heroes left the wicked water’s edge.. on a lifeboat with the latest innovation to comb the brine, and deep sea dredge
And that far away little lighthouse with white-washed walls still stands as always on the shore..listening to those wailing woes from distressed sailors crying “HELP” for evermore
This keel boat had sailed the horizon to end it’s journey on the sea..with twin white sails and mast and mizen, seven sad souls shrine their shipwreck eternally
