The little things we take for granted

The little things we take for granted

Eeh there is nothing that I wouldn’t do
than to walk into Primark shop and stand shuffling in that queue
Chittering and chattering to nobody I knew
Looking at the busyness Oh how I miss this view

Clustered in a cafe with my purchases down below
Coffee cup in my hand with a colossal chunk of gateau
Listening to the hustle bustle muffling the radio
I haven’t finished shopping
I need to hurry this with gusto

It’s the little things that we take for granted that I miss the most
Driving to the seaside and sunbathing on the coast
Dining out in a restaurant and tucking in to a Sunday roast
Our little jaunts in our car travelling from pillar to post
