THE LOCKET SHE WORE

The locket she wore was always round her neck
An essential item worn she constantly did check
Silver in colour and its heart shape opened in two
A little picture of her loved ones is clear to view

The locket she wore was her constant reminder
For her loved ones would always be inside her
This silver locket is more precious than gold
I  knew this lovely item would never be sold

The locket she wore was stolen in town one day
That's when I came into this story I have to say
I tackled the burglar brought him to the ground
Thankfully the locket was undamaged and found
