"The Long Way Home"

Let Us be mindful of the mockery an also all the jokes
It's no fun to watch an evil spirit leave a body as it wiggles and chokes.
One must Be serious and not play the fools role
As the time draws nearer for the opening of the scrolls.
Some may choose to laugh but They won't be the first
To find that Life does get real and One can die from the thirst.
All jokes aside for they must surely reach their end
There's not much time for clowning it is time to make amends.
The Ones who do heed this may sometimes only Be few
That's just the less this world can spit out when it chews.
On this journey to the light One must seek and hark
For when the fools rush in they are sure to bring the dark.
It does not make much sense for so many to get dragged down
By the wolf in sheep's clothing who to the upright resembles the clown.
Peoples when You bite don't bite off more than can Be swallowed
For the flames won't quench the thirst when left to scream and holler.
This is not the time for Anyone to say We will do just as We feel
Best remember,Jah don't need Man so Man had better get real.
Listen up all wicked Ones We don't want Your short evil roams
We trust in direct truth ordering We to take The Long Way Home! Amen
