Poem -

THE MAGIC DARK

I see them there, the brilliant stars
Floating high in blackest void
To glow with flying asteroids

And the red red dust of mars

They tell me that they don't exist
Their light just ancient deadened mist
It makes me cry to think of them
This way

For I see them there
As real as I
Shining bright in midnight's sky
As real as the moons all seeing eye

And I know tis they
That spawned my birth
Great mother's of
 the universe
And I feel the power
Of life and breath
And death

For I stand alone in the magic dark
In atmosphere as hushed and stark
As Mother star's
Eternal cold caress.
