Poem -

The Man

You been roaming the street

in your bare cold feet
wishing you had somewhere to sleep,
you sold your phone
you needed food, this ain’t no good,
living in this neighborhood

it all went downhill one day
you quit your job you had no income of pay
you lost your house
now your sleeping next to a mouse.

you got back up
you walked a mile or two

without any shoes
you feel like a damn fool

you finally found help

  • you never looked back

6 months on your so thankful
to god , it was a miracle
and you were so greatful
