The Man Darkly Woven And Of Duality

First caught my attention
in one's reading explorative discoveries,
brilliant words set
fire to eyes upon his page.
It was like I already knew him
him, just dropping by 
from the skies,
told me he just came back
over a rickety recently repaired bridge.
Delighted
when he said 
I was sparks flying 
and could soon be a well lit fire
If only to learn a few things
surely I'd find my flame.
We were brothers of text
writing and conversing 
months after next,
admiration was mutual
with so much in common,
to offend him 
don't think I'd ever
have that problem.

He's lingered of late
at last I heard.... 
he was in a good place,
except to vanish like smoke
from a faded out fire
into dry heats desert,
shadows run long
meeting an end with darkness cold
searching for self
mescaline soul.

Back from black
out of blue
"Hurro mine friend,
how the hell are you?"
Reanimated and-
a touch of peppered dark
but
Mary, oh Mary
can dispel a nefarious heart,
return a tranquil spirited man
Letting me know drinks in hand;
All knowledge, wisdom
or shooting of shit 
bestowed unto me,
brings me great comfort
I've returned it evenly.
I sign off my every conversation 
with words such as these
To the man darkly woven and of duality....
I say, "Peace!"
