THE MAN IN THE BLACK VEST

All days in all weathers he dresses the same
Don't know who he is or even his name 
Wears a black vest to cover his chest 
Same jeans for trousers to cover the rest 

A jovial local character to my city is he
No cares no worries or so it seems to me 
To every passer by he always says hello 
Some stay to chat others just want to go 

I wonder what lies behind this vested man 
Not sure when his dress sense first began
As long as he's happy than I'm happy too
