The boy who could not speak

The boy who used to be a man
The boy who once stood tall
The boy who has done all he can
The boy who is now so small

The boy who can see no way out
The boy who is trapped in a cage
The boy who has no strength to shout
The boy who has no feelings but rage

The boy who has pushed everyone away
The boy is sitting wanting a helping hand
The boy who wanted someone to stay 
The boy who just wants to stand 

The boy who's saviour came 
The boy who no longer has pain 
The saviour who had no name 
The boy who can stand again

The boy who is a man once more
The man who is now full of life
The man no longer resides on the floor
The man who once again can love his wife

The man who's feelings have returned 
The man who no longer feels empty
The man who's place has been earned
The man who now feels plenty
