The man with shifty eyes went past me today 
Going about his business I didn't get in the way 
What was this man up to I do not know 
The purposeful strides he took were definitely not slow 

The man with shifty eyes was focused alright 
Whatever he was up to he looked quite a sight
The long overcoat and the trilby he wore upon his head 
Someone for sure would finish up dead 

The man with shifty eyes was a hitman I think
In life and in death he was the missing link 
So heed my advice and leave this man well alone
