THE MASTER AND HIS MUSE

He is like a drug to me I cannot refuseĀ
For he is the master and I'm his museĀ
Wherever he is I will always be thereĀ
Say what you want I don't really careĀ

I hang on his every word that he's writtenĀ
Guess you would call me lovesick and smitten
He acknowledges my presence with a hello
Signs my book and then it's off he does go

Followed this man since he burst on the scene
His words touch me if you know what I meanĀ
So thank you dear man for the pleasure you give
I will follow your work for as long as I live
