The Mean One

Your eyes are cold and dark
full of hatred and death
And you have a heart of ice
cold as winter snow
The twisted smile that shines
upon you sends a chill down my spine
For the time has come to let faith
lay her judgement upon my soul
The smell of red scarlet blood
lingers in the midnight air
As the wind howls its rage
in the mist of the midnight hour
Time slowly fades away as
the hour strikes midnight
You are a lost story buried in
the past about to reopen
It was the night of Christmas
and the snow was falling
And the house was silent as
you slithered down the chimney
Darkness swarmed around the
room as the moon cast shadows
And the clock slowly struck
midnight as you plotted your plan
You looked in the mirror and saw
the reflection of the green monster
Taking your fist and shattering the
glass like little tiny diamonds
Hatred was growing deep inside that
dark and cold heart of ice
Looking in the blood stained bag of
goodies where the blade held within
Slowly creeping up the wooden stairs
with a wicked smile on your lips
You tipped toe up to the bed my bed
which I laid my head upon
Raising the blade that you held
to the center of my beating hear
And with the Merry Christmas you
yelled plunged it deep in my heart
