THE MENTAL PAIN

I left my house to catch the train 
That's when I noticed the severe pain
Was it due to how I slept the night before?
How this pain occurred I'm not really sure 

I rang up work advised no work for me today
I wish this horrible pain would go away 
To the doctors I must visit and go 
In the hope some tablets will soften the blow 

Being in pain is a terrible and awful thing 
So much agony and discomfort it can bring 
What is the pain I'm sorry I haven't said 
The pain is mental it's in my head
