THE MIDNIGHT TREE

THE MIDNIGHT TREE

Such great beauty, midnight's tree
In quiet dance with sultry breeze
Tiny diamonds of firefly light
Play out delight in shadowed night

And sing to moon who bathes them so
In molten gold and silver glow
Like twinkling pennies shimmering high
A gift to gods of wind and sky

A silvered trunk stands tall and wide
Branches spread in love and pride
Roots strong in the earth below
Ancient power all aglow

And oh to feel the wealth of life
In bounty from most generous night
Enriched are souls with eyes to see
The beauty of the midnight tree

Don't think I could ever do it justice Tony, but you know those moments of the solitude with the moon playing the trees and the air thick with atmosphere and you know you are not really alone and never were???...thankyou for your generous comment my friend...hugs ?

My Dear Lady Marion,

Again, you have killed it with this arboreal masterpiece.  I don't think that I am going out on a limb, by pinning this!

As the clock strikes twelve, I revel
In the beauty of "The Midnight Tree"
It brings joy to both my heart and Soul
Mother Nature's epitome

All my love,
Larry xxx
