The mind of a child

The mind of a child

As I wonder within the mind of a child, who’s heart is wholesome, meek and mild..What on earth do they see today within our world of worry and dark, dismay?

Isn’t it an awful start to life knowing there is a pandemic that is causing such strife? As we the parents wrap them up in cotton wool and send them daily to get taught at school..Alas little ones are suffering too from this crazy Covid and it’s blight so blue..

The eyes of a child are extremely bright, they soon comprehend what isn’t right, with ears that listen as acute as a bat, it would be impossible to hide this here and now under a mat!! Yes indeed these times are uncertain and strange and one can only hang around hoping that it will change, back to give us all some normality.. when a child isn’t scared of what they hear and see...

Another excellent write Jill....children perceive the world in a different way to adults but they are also.extremely resilient. When I think back to my own childhood memories, I never remember the physical appearance of anything or anyone...I remember atmosphere...scent and sound. I sometimes perceived  trauma in everyday events that went unnoticed by adults. I cried secretly for days when I accidently stepped on my nan's dog's paw and she squealed, this is a traumatic memory from my childhood that my nan laughed at in later years. Yet, when our chimney was on fire my siblings and I were beside ourselves with excitement...lol...and the adults fearful and panicking...lol. Children are a different species and thank god for that...bloody hell.i could go in for hours here, but I won't bore you anymore...brilliant ?
