The monkey and a chimp🤣

A monkey and a chimpanzee sat upon the stoned wall

Picking and flicking fleas where their skin did crawl

And the two of them gave each other a right good overhaul

Ridding that wretched itchiness once and for all..

Now this couple of climbling creatures thought they were the very same

Coz they both lived in the trees and played at the same gibbon game

But when they sat on a riverbank and saw their reflection... Oh what a crying shame!!

Because they soon realised they were not alike and with a different frame...

Well each one thought they were better than the others

And ran off to get reassurance from their busy big brothers

Of course this ended up in brawling and nothing but boisterous bothers

So mayhem went mentally manic betwixt their doting Fathers and Mothers....

Gibber, gabber, whoop and chitter chattering was all that could be heard

What a carry on though zoo keepers couldn’t understand a single word

As they watched from outside the caged compound the rivalry was absolutely absurd

And every other animal within the Zoo habitat was suddenly stirred....

Lions roared and Hyenas laughed

Whilst Hippopotami rolled about mumbling as they bathed

Yet the couple that started it all began playing together totally unscathed

Acting completely oblivious to the outcry and so well behaved....
