The Moon

The Moon

All those nights lying in bed
Reminiscing the things we’ve said.
Once again tonight
Under the dim moonlight
Two AM and I’m still awake
Oh, how my little heartaches.
Yearning for you in my arms
Be with me through these storms.
I open my eyes
In bed, I lie
Trying to fall back asleep
The only way you’re with me.
Is through these desperate little dreams.
Darling, I’ll see you soon
While Lying under this gentle moon.
