THE MOUSE IN MY HOUSE

THE MOUSE IN MY HOUSE

Oh my goodness I nearly cried
I have never been so terrified
Going about his business on the kitchen floor
Was the biggest mouse I ever saw

He scuttled about like he owned the place
His belly was huge I never saw his face
Where was he going I could not say
I have never been so scared as I was today

Should I ever see this mouse again
I will hold my breath and count to ten
Then calmly I will say hello to the mouse
And welcome him to my humble house
