The Music Of My Life

The world’s in turmoil but there is one thing, that mankind can all on agree;
It’s all the great music that’s been handed down, since ancient times of the B.C.’s!
Some pundits say music by the greatest three B’s, is the best they’ve heard in their life;
But to me they can’t compare to the three A’s, the music of my precious wife!
The first “A” stands for her wisest advice, she councils to me every day;
So often I’m off on tumultuous tangents, but she’s able to steer me away!
For sometimes I think but don’t see the facts, which she wisely points out to me;
And then I calm down and know I was wrong, she brings such sweet serenity!
The second one stands for how A’tractive she is, her beauty both outside and in;
Her long raven hair that she promised she’d grow, the night of our romances begin!
Her beautiful smile and kind giving heart, has conquered the beast I once was;
For her innermost beauties have captured my soul, as I try emulate all that she does!
The last of the “A’s” is an old ancient word, the Latin one called “amore”;
It stands for the never ending love we both share, and no one could we ever love more!
The notes she has played o’er the years of our love, the great music of my God Blessed life;
That supercede all I’ve heard before, the sounds of my beautiful wife!

Hi Tony,
As usual, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your wonderful interpretations of my poems. As you laud me for their content, I laud you for understanding what I'm trying to say. As for me, I think I'm a much better writer than interpreter, and I'm always amazed by people like you who can do both.
Your friend,
Larry
