The Night Garden

How...
To understand the language
When I have no ears to know
Yet I understand... such a
kindness there
Projected in the flow, in
The making of light
And illusion
In my night garden hushed
in collusion, where
In the eerie fall of the knowing
I sense kinship, beloved
And glowing...
In the night garden
In the hush of the dark
In the essence of star, and
the love of those far...far...

Marion, this is beautiful. Sad...but beautiful. The night garden is a place I also find myself in occasionally. I love the wording of this... it can mean different things to different readers.Â
If only we could hear their voices as real and as clear aclothe living speak. Awesome work my friend. Hugs x
Honestly, in the dark with the stars I don't think we are ever alone Tina...the atmosphere 'lives' doesn't it...thanks love Xx
I agree with Tina! What a fantastic writer. To be honest, I got the feeling more of beauty and mystery here. It seems like there's something mystical at night gardens... Thank you for allowing me to recall personal experiences. Love the write and more importantly the emotion it brings. Peace and Hugs Marion.
I'm glad you felt some emotion from.this Max because I was trying to convey and failing the powerful atmosphere of sitting alone with the stars in the dark...we are never alone I think...thanks Max...hugs x
Marion you're never alone in the dark, that emotional night garden looking up at distant stars.
For you are stardust, we all are and bid return to where we birthed and be eventually and eternally among others we miss, our memory never forgets.Â
Thanks Marion for writing and sharing your beautiful and engaging poem that works on many emotional levels.
