Poem -

THE NIGHT I BEAT USAIN BOLT

Eleven o'clock and it was time for bed
An interesting dream soon hit my head
Take this poem though with a pinch of salt
Concerns the time I beat the legend Usain Bolt

The final was in the Olympic stadium, Rome
Mum was in the crowd and Dad stayed at home
I remember the weather was dry but bitterly cold
Will never forget the night I won Olympic gold

Next morning I awoke in a very cold sweat
The dream of last night I would quickly forget
Looking for answers I started to stare into space
My dream restored how I beat Usain in that race

I wonder what the analysis is of that dream
Maybe considered wacky and a little extreme
It was a personal best should you want to know
Five seconds for hundred metres was hardly slow
