The Night I Saw An Angel
It happened in the early morn, on July twenty-sixth, twenty and fifteen;
I have no explanation, for it was like nothing I’d ever seen!
It would have been our Nico’s fourteenth birthday, but we had lost him five months before;
Yet at three a.m. on that very day, I saw him resting by a door!
It was the house where his old friend Edgar lived, with whom he’d often play;
I blinked my eyes to clear this dream, yet there he still peaceful lay!
In my tracks I stopped with disbelief, how could this ever be?
Then I peeked again, and there he was, looking right at me!
Time then seemed to come to rapid halt, I have no idea how long then passed;
But all of a sudden, he was there no more, but this vision will ever last!
This phenomenon was not a dream I had, it happened sure as day;
The night I saw my dear Nico, the night an “Angel” came my way!

I wish I could have been there with you sweetie, it really was Nico, he came to say he`s happy and he loves you both. Well done and thank you for sharing this lovely memory with us, it makes my heart burst with joy to know that he has been able to show you that he`s still with you all. Your lovely letter last week, when you told us of Andrew's beloved soccer team, and how there anthem played for you at his memorial without anyone up in the office to turn it on, inspired me to write this phenomena of my own, which I've never discussed before. Â There are events in our world that go beyond the beyond, and can only be explained by dearly departed souls reconnecting with their loved ones.
