The night that time stood still 🦉

I saw those sparkling stars glisten gold, the night that time stood still
I was camping underneath my canvas, on the top of Humbleton hill
This adventure lasted like forever, and I shall always reminisce the sheer thrill
That strange night the big bright old Mr. Moon turned as black as coal, against his want and will
Well I think I listened to a Tawny Owl a’hooting nearby
When time stood still, my watch on my left wrist stopped dead, I tell you no lie
Then for fifteen minutes or maybes more, I thought that I might die
Though this calamity could well have lasted  longer, one knows well how that time does fly
Anyways just as I was drawing my last breath, that Tawny Owl shrieked a shrilling “SCREAM!!”
And I opened up my weary eyes, betwixt this timelessness of extreme
When all of a sudden and from out of the blue, things were not at all as they did seem…
“JILL” my Mother called my name five times, and I woke up on the sofa..had I been lost amidst a dream…
