The ninth house

So tonight is white moon full

Of hope in the dark night 

The village waits for light 

To pray for restoration from 

The suffering 

Yesterday was flood 

Tears in the village 

For the cows sacred 

Left in the fields to die 

Tomorrow is the future 

Children laughing as if 

The grief hasn't even come 

Forgetting of yesterday's troubles 

Playing in the garden of life 

As so the heart 

This plentiful chamber 

Of blood and pain 

Beating for life in the village 

The moon in the ninth house 

Squares of silver bringing 

Good fortune and positivity 

This my people, 

......this my Hindi belief
