THE NUMBER 12 BUS

The number 12 bus is an interesting bus
Can get you into the city without any fuss
The characters on the bus are interesting too
In this poem I will explain it to you

Billy uses the number 12 to get him to school
He sits at the back trying to look cool
Then there is Mary who is an O.A.P
A sprightly old lady who is eighty three

The number 12 is sometimes an unnecessary evil though
As the workers who use it will testify and show
I however enjoy my time on this short bus ride
It sure beats walking in the cold outside
