THE OFFENSE OF THE CROSS
IN ORDER FOR THE GOSPEL TO MAKE ANY SENSE,
YOU MUST FIRST UNDERSTAND THAT THE PREACHING OF THE
CROSS BRINGS AN OFFENSE.
AS ST. PAUL CLEARLY STATES IN THE BOOK OF 1ST CORINTHIANS CHAPTER NUMBER 1,
WE HAVE BEEN RANSOMED BY THE DEATH OF GODS SON
THE LORD JESUS HAS FREED US FROM THE DOMINION OF SIN,
AND HAS SPARED US FROM THE WRATH THAT IS SOON
TO BEGIN.

Have never understood why the figure of jesus nailed to a cross is a token proudly displayed by christians as if it is some accolade.
He deserves accolade because He died for you and all the World.
That doesn't address what I said. Christians hardly display their shame and guilt by proudly displaying this figure all over the place.
