The one it doesn’t know

Somewhere unexpected 
wish upon a star,
penny for your
thoughts,
All the have to’s
don’t want to’s
But have to 
though.
Somewhere my mind
doesn’t go.
Wish upon a star
I wish, I wish,
though,
I wish I could be
a shooting star,
whiffle when the
wind blows,
The pinch in my
heart is broken 
with the sadness,
I’ve always known,
I just wish my mind
could go any place 
besides the one it
doesn’t know…
