THE PERFECT STORM

I woke up in a frenzy
Crying my heart out
The one I loved took my first born
On the greyhound south
My baby girl was the reason I lived
This atrocity was beyond forgiveness
There I was in a state of despair
No disaster experienced before could be compared
I fell on my knees and began to pray
Heck!! Not knowing God
I had no idea what to say
So I just said what was in my heart
Lord! My world is falling apart
If you give me another chance
I'll do what's right
My knees was sore that night
I heard no angels voice
No angelic being appeared
I saw no burning bush
Only my tears was coupled with fear
Then a feeling of peace came over me
I was in His presence
Right where I ought to be
God was there all of the time
Waiting on my repentance
Now my family is doing fine.
