The Piano Man

Dedicated to the world class Filipino lounge pianist Martin Avila-Pianist

The Piano Man

When you go through horrendous times
And try to sing but the melody don't rhymes
Listen to the Piano man
Whose hands are wet with honest sweat
One, two, three; one, two, three
He'll do the best he can

He will fix what Hell has shattered
In his life You are all that mattered
Fingers touched the notes //
unlocked and free
You have no better friend than He.

Art is channelled through Him
Hands refined to elegance and precision
A Math in motion
Makes a split second decision
Lift the livestream into orbit
On You Tube, SPOTIFY
Try and explore it.

" Life is wonderful while he's still alive"
Echoing voice from
"THE BARBIES OF FIVE"
Oh! what a life
He never gets tired with this kind of life
" A playboy without a girlfriend, who ends up living with his affectionate wife".

I seldom pray like this:
God bless you
You make us feel brand new
But I have to
This is what I do.

Hi Leah, hope you are well. No I haven´t got a youtube channel, I do play the acoustic guitar, which I thoroughly enjoy, but not well enough to post on youtube. Keep writing, singing and making great music!

Beautiful write Leah...full of joy. I took up.piano as an adult...got to a grade 3...loved it. Not played a note in over 10 years now due to an enforced move which my piano could not accompany me on. I recently tried on a keyboard and found I could not play anything...remember anything at all...keep practising x

Passion really bled through your words in this remarkably beautiful poem. Very inspiring seeing someone capture their purpose, kudos my friend.
