The Picture Never Seen

What worth the masterpiece that never sees the light of day?
What meaning to emotion when you have not the words to say?
Does God ever wish for other Gods to view his work?
Mating, creating, fighting, killing upon his canvas do we lurk.
Perhaps the desire for an audience spawned the doom of our very souls.
And we mar the greatest piece of art as we seek to unearth our roles.
But as I digress, this becomes less, lack of focus indicative of a certain distress.
There is purpose to the giving of form to the ephemeral, even if no one ever sees it.
