THE PINK SUPERMOON

The pink supermoon was clearly visible in the sky
Looking down on us all and probably wondering why
Why the sudden interest are people looking at me
Surely they have more important things to see

The pink supermoon has no idea of the world's state
Just knows that it must shine and keep looking great
I looked out my window and saw it myself 
Just for an instant I forgot about virus and health 

When I wonder will the pink supermoon next appear 
Hope like last night it will be bright and clear 
Seeing the pink supermoon made me a happy boy
A little thing for the world to appreciate and enjoy
