The pirate

THE PIRATE

Give me something and I will treasure it,
Give me everything and I will bury it,
The washed up words, the trash that you're treasuring ,
Are a half built raft with no sail, that's caught adrift.
I pull you closer to let you taste these lips,
The poison apple, the iceberg sinking ships,
Give me something and I will treasure it,
On a lonely island, cursed with hopelessness.
