The Play

You asked me out
but as a joke
not knowing
that you hoped
one day my yes
turnes you to stone
but I still said no.

It’s playful
and it’s fun
let’s not waste it
let’s not die out
with dreams in heart
and hand in hand
you’re still asking
till the very end.
