THE PLIGHT OF THE HOMELESS

The plight of the homeless is really sad
Nobody cares and it drives me totally mad
Ignored and forgotten in the society today
An eyesore for many that just gets in the way

The plight of the homeless is upsetting for sure
Surely as the grateful ones we could do more
How can it be right to have no shoes on your feet
How can it be right to sleep on a park bench seat

The plight of the homeless needs to be sorted
Helping a fellow human should be supported
I have food on my plate and a comfy bed to rest
The plight of the homeless makes me depressed
