The Poem Thats Now A Song

The Poem Thats Now A Song
  • A poem I promised, that I never got to writing It down, and now It's much too late as lay flowers on your grave
  • I speak to you of a poem I finally wrote, not quite the poem I'd planned, for knew not that you were dying
  • But the poem  has now become a song dedicated to you, and there will always be a place in time for you my darling
  • I feel a great weight lifted from me, for the poem that's now a song and I kept my promise to you
