The Poet In The Light ~ (The Light Among The Roses)

Oh the light among the roses
Does beg consideration's current and press
The glare that is blindness within the wants
Of the beholder without such gentle ambition
There's so much time there, beneath soft petals
Waiting to be discovered,
Oh the light suspended in time
Does beg but a grazing from hands and minds
Wherein, there are three conditions
Of life's beauty, birth, and death
But oh, what great rewards await
When in this light we bathe,
"By virtue of this science the poet is the Namer"
And the poet names a thing for having seen it
But oh, when he dare but don the light
He helps to reveal and truly feel it,
Time before and time after
The cleansing affection from the temporal
Does make a way clear
Link by link and step by step
To step barefoot
Into life's most plentiful garden
Where the light among the roses
Welcomes the soul of the every-poet
Which shines so brightly,
Before,
And after time......
