~ The Poet's Pen ~
(The Arrival Of Morning)
As morning arrives
The poet becomes the sayer,
The conveyer,
The painter,
Of morning's beauty...Β
'Tis true his world
Need not be painted or adorned,
For it is, from its birth,
Divine,
But in its fashion
The morning does dare awaken
The beauty
In the poet's pen,
Where those poets with delicate ear
Can hear its beauty,
Can feel it
Intrinsically,
And manifest this miracle
With eyes closed
And mind aware,
For it is from within the mind's eye
Where the poet's pen
Rushes to capture,
The arrival of morning
In all of its glory,
In all of its divinity,
Flawlessly,
Arrogantly,
Beautifully...

A poet has a special kind of mind. A poet notices things ...very distinctly... in glorious technicolor pictures that also hold the smell and temperature. And when the need arises, a poet will retreat into their mind and visit the place when ever they have the need to write of it. Poets are clever like that. A few poets, such as yourself, are exceptionally clever and write words that put the picture in the head of their readers. This is what your poem has reminded me of... it was a morning scene, but one the poet has tucked away in the corners of his mind.Β Great work, Tony!

I drove by a lake the other day, it was calm and creative, breath takingly beautiful, I wanted to just sit within it, to be part of it, physically and mentally.
I get frustrated that I cannot fly, that sometimes in these moments, I wish to die, so my soul can escape it's human form and fly towards the beautiful moments the earth has to offer.
Thanks for sharing this image with us Tony, you should become an astronaut, I think you would do a tremendous job at describing the cosmos.

In your own way you define yourself, through your verbal promotion of what means most to you. In terms of " engagement " and partnership. Your heart leads you, my friend, to " horizons new " where the " pen or pencil " deliver a statement, ON YOU. About you. For, you....and the essence of your being.
