The Power Went Out

The Power Went Out

The lights went out, the power was gone.

The body weakened, yet life went on?

Courage beyond anyone I have ever known.

Sparkles in the eyes were like that as they had grown.

The light will come back, it always did.

Power outages always scared me since I was a Kid.
