The present, the past and the future

And when the past has been and gone, well when did I go ?

Am I those particles of dustiness in the future, within the wild winds that blow?

None of these questions alas I can answer, coz none of them I know

So indeed I understand the present, it concerns me, this is where I am right now with all the things I see

And I have only heard about the past from people much older than me, so although most of what I am told will be accurate, some will be fabricated obviously

We can only believe what we actually see, and coz my ancestors are all passed on, they cannot tell me
