Poem -

THE PRETTY WAITRESS

The pretty waitress shows me to a table
Her name is Katrina according to her label
She smiles as she takes my order of steak
For afters I choose the lemon drizzle cake

The pretty waitress is far too busy tonight
Throughout it all her smile remains bright
Katrina brings me my meal and says enjoy
Is that normal conversation or just a ploy ?

The pretty waitress asks if I enjoy the food
Saying no to her would be impolite and rude
My meal finished as the clock strikes ten
Can't wait until tomorrow to do it all again
