The Pursuit Of Happiness

The Pursuit Of Happiness

August 9th
3:37 pm

It was like everything went silent, the noise in my mind had finally ceased. It finally ceased!! Like after a steady rise, a scraping cresendo and right before the climax it all just ended, a wall crashing halt that set off a lightbulb in my soul saying "finally you get it" that life isn't a self sacrifice to wealth and material trivia. That who you are is an acclimation of how you approach life and endurance has less to do with class and more to do with character. I felt a flood washing over me and I finally understood what it meant to be alive. I stepped off the rat wheel that was never meant for me in the first place and stepped onto the road

in the pursuit of happiness.

Hello CO...

Derek...

The door to the rat wheel was left open...

Sometimes, we go the wrong way to the bathroom...

Not your fault the door closed behind you...

Glad you were set free my friend!

:)

Great write!

Thank you for sharing!

Hugs...
