The Rain That Started It

The Rain That Started It

The night got quiet as our friends left,
the air was frozen, we could see our breath and,
you showed me how you talked to moths,
and I stayed up after the lights turned off, but
i saw your eyes staring at me through the dark in your best friend's home,
i stared back to show you weren't alone, you see
i showed you my internal clocks and the way they ticked,
you showed me the dogs and the way they're sick,
you talked about the spiders in your head,
i lay awake with foxes in my bed, but
i never got tired with all the lack of sleep,
because your that shot of coffee I really need,
my love you're mine in a way youll never know,
the rain keeps us awake,
god just imagine the snow

This is good. I love the experience  and I'm still imagining what the snow would be like.
