The Red suburban grass

War

The Red suburban grass

The Asian wolves gathered upon the border of our sleepy suburban town,Β
Snarling and smirking, about to wake our peaceful slumber

Upon the falling leaves they pace, crunching and shuffling beneath their leather paws, each of them emitting a pale yellow glow amongst the heat of a distant throne.Β

They placed there chest against our doors and beat an almighty thunder, "wake" they bellowed, for now you must live in our war, until your land is no more.Β

The screams of children began to sting in cold air, huddled in confusion and above all, fright, like black clouds
Shrouding God's light.Β

They watched with eyes of tears, frantically seeking an Iron man, he does not exist, what is now, is the death of the parent, the one who should protect, now lies in silence upon the red suburban grass.Β

We should be watching them, "in times of peace we must prepare for WAR" because others are eating the devil's body and lapping his blood.Β

Hey Sir McGOWAN!!......That quote ~ who said that? Eisenhower? Patton?.....sounds like something a General would say....sad thing is....they are often SO right......hell, I'm pretty sure wars are manufactured just so the big Corporations have a place to sell their wares......anyway, this piece of poetic prose is Profoundly well conveyed......the prose is awesome and the subject matter of importance......but the imagery is SUPERB......it brings it to light......spreads the fear when creating such stunning imagery ~
