The Rose Who Never Blossomed

My child from the womb,
The one I've not met,
Please know that I love you,
My heart can attest.
Too short you were carried,
But loved all the same,
Yet even in this,
My love still remains.
I mourned of your loss,
My arms could not hold,
Yet still I named you,
My Meredith Rose.
I wait for the day,
For when I come home,
You're waiting for me,
The time yet unknown.

Hey MISS COLLIER!!.....what a powerful write.....on equally powerful subject matter.....I always think women speak of this amongst themselves.....thinking that they can bare the brunt of the tragedy......but Cherie has taught me differently......the pain is the same on all fronts......Just that SHE gets the news first......I Love the way you put such a soft, loving, and open-minded perspective on this.......I REALLY think this subject matter deserves more of the spotlight!!!.....Poetically ~ an excellent choice on formatting ~ the succinctness worked beautifully......ALL STARS!!......well done.......LOVE and ROCKETS!!......T xo ?ā³ā“ā

Thank you, Deborah. I'm sorry for your loss as well. It was very therapeutic to write after not really talking about the miscarriage. God bless you!
