The seclusion for the over seventies

The seclusion for the over seventies

Those of us who are seventy years of age and over
You have been told to stay inside
in the seclusion of your own home undercover
But make sure before you do there are friends and family looking after you
They can do your shopping and buy your essentials
Whilst the government have decided with their Cororavirus credentials
Remember they are only thinking of your own good
You may pickup infection that could be a likelihood

So that means no bingo for Grandmas nor the pub for Grandads
If you feel lonely you can skype your comrades
There is loads on the television that’s if you have a smart t.v.
Netflix, Amazon Prime with movies to see
Get yerself a blanket to wrap-up nice and snug
At least you shall stay safe and be like a bug in a rug
This shouldn’t be for ever
I’m sure your isolation won’t last long
But catching Corvid-19 would be horrible and wrong
Stay inside your house
We will be thinking of you
Do not step outside your door no matter what you do!!

LOL ... love the tone and pace of this...
I am only 41 and don't feel any need to preserve my life.
I have had a blast
and am not going to change my lifestyle now,
even if it means I'll party my last
So let the bingo call on
and the dice be cast!
