The secretive sprites play🧚‍♀️

The secretive sprites play🧚‍♀️

Amidst the magical forest beside the babbling brook..a ring of toadstools grow for evermore beyond a shadey nook..betwixt yon green grassy meadows where fairies and pixies play..as there friends the bumblebees fill their honey combs on a summer’s sunny day

Buzzing from flower to flower with their stripey little backs these busy bees fill pockets of pollen stuffing it in their honey sacks ..waking up the skylark who sits nurturing her nest with seven tiny hatchlings all cradled under her puffed-out breast..inside a mossy hollow in the purple of the heather the skylarks shelter from the morning dew as they huddle alltogether

Allday long the pixies and fairies play flying and chasing the beautiful butterflies as they flicker and flutter away..dancing with the dragonflies in the warm summer breeze, leap frogging over the grasshoppers thru the copse of copper trees..in and out of the red-topped toadstools the secretive sprites play hide and seek..singing along with the song birds chitter, chatter, chirp and squeak

Now THIS is my kind of happy winsome kind of fairy tale!  Lol....It brings peace and serenity when read and the images of such a playful world of fairies, pixies, and butterflies come alve in color.  I enjoyed very much.  Thanks, Jill for sharing your sweet narrative.  xo Love n Hugs
